Harry Coumnas Shares His Experience Of Practicing Yoga Under The Guidance Of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Harry Coumnas is a Yoga practitioner who has been practicing Yoga from the last twenty years. In the year 1996, he started learning meditation under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to experience the inner calmness and to reach the state of enlightenment. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is a widely recognized as the world’s foremost Vedic scholar and scientist of consciousness. He is renowned for teaching the Transcendental Meditation program which offers the full promise of life- life in enlightenment, peace, affluence and good health.

“The desire to know yourself and understand your connection to the universe is natural.” This tempted Harry Coumnas to learn Yoga and its benefits for the mind, body and soul. Yoga helps to relive stress, develop flexibility and youthfulness, balance digestion, improve sleep, and deepen the experience of silence. After practicing yoga for ten years under his guidance, he learnt the deep insight into the correct and effortless practice of yoga asanas and how each pose can help create balance and well-being.

After years of practicing meditation and yoga, Harry Coumnas has realized that his life has become more relaxing and balanced. Now, he has become an expert in performing yoga on the physical level, but also wants to start and continue to practice Yoga on all other levels—mental, intellectual, and on the level of self-referral, Transcendental consciousness.
