“If the human race has to survive in the long run, we’ll probably have to colonize any other planet. Whether we make the Earth uninhabitable ourselves or it reaches a natural end itself, one day we’ll have to search for a new home.” says well-known astronomer, Harry Coumnas. 

Lately, Harry was invited to a conference held in Paris, Italy, where he spoke about his plans to build a colony on an alien. He said that Hollywood movies like Interstellar and The Martian give us a good glimpse of what may be in store for us. While he referred to Mars as one of the most habitable destinations in the solar system, he suggested numerous other earth-like exoplanets which could be a perfect replacement for our planet.

Harry Coumnas is working on a technology that will provide a continuous supply of resources, such as oxygen, water, energy, & food in order to sustain the inhabitants on the colony. He is sure that with his innovative technology, all these vital resources will be easily transferrable to the future space settlement. When asked about the number of people he plans to send to the alien planet, he said, “The colony I plan to build would approximately accommodate 1000 to 1500 people including men and women of reproductive age.”

Harry Coumnas Has Invented A Submarine That Could Travel Straight For 25 Hours

The idea of travelling underneath the ocean waters inside a contained vessel has been around for centuries. Thousands of submarines have been made for defense, military purposes. Many countries also use submarines for tour purposes, so that the common people could explore the aquatic life under the sea water. 

Harry Coumnas, a marine biologist who is quite popular for taking on brain-twistingly difficult challenges has made one-of-its-kind submarine that could travel the whole Pacific Ocean. On this exciting tour, he wants to take along his team, where an entire world of fish and other marine creatures are living their life. This submarine can dive into the depths well over 200 feet in the safety and comfort of air-conditioned, approved, real submarine. This idea popped up in his mind when he was 14 years old and went on a Submarine Tour in Mauritius with his parents. At the very first sight, he was amazed to see the green turtles, sharks, stingrays, yellow tangs, eels, and many other species of underwater marine life. 

In a recent interview, Harry Coumnas has claimed that this could be an unforgettable journey of more than 25 hours where he and his teammates could explore a vast area of Pacific Ocean and its marine inhabitants. In future, if this experiment gets successful, he is planning to commercialize this submarine tours which would be open for tourists all around the world.

Harry Coumnas is a London based entrepreneur who has invested in weird businesses throughout his life. Currently, he is planning to open an underwater museum with a “Sinking Ship” theme.  

The idea struck his mind when he was snorkeling and didn’t realize how deep under the water he went and landed on an old, broken ship. According to him, he toured the ship for about an hour and found several interesting things. Several days passed after the incident, but the spectacular views of the ship didn’t escape his mind. This is when he decided to transform this beautiful ship into a museum. 

Harry Coumnas says that he knows that many underwater museums already exist, but the one that he would introduce will be one of a kind. During his interaction with the media, he said, “A museum in a broken ship that must have sunk thousands of years ago is itself an interesting subject. I know it will attract people from all over the world. To make his ship museum a little more attractive, I have rearranged some of the broken ship parts with the help of professionals.”

Harry Coumnas Is All Set To Make A Documentary Film On 'Finding Alien Life In The Universe'

Harry Coumnas is a scientist who is planning to make a movie on his researches about alien life and exoplanets so far. Though, NASA scientists predict that we'll find alien life in the Milky Way galaxy within the next 20 years by using ground and space-based technology. He says we're limited in our search for life by our prejudices and lack of imagination. Explaining this in a creative thought, he wants to make a short documentary on this research to show the people what we are doing and where we are heading?

Harry Coumnas says that the technology we use to hunt down alien life has greatly improved in the past decade, but the search still isn't nearly as easy as we originally thought. For example, bio signatures are generally believed to be the first and firm evidence of life, either past or present. But, scientists have discovered that lifeless planets with lifeless moons that yield the same bio signatures that we typically see as evidence of life. This means our current methods for detecting life on exoplanets may easily produce false positives. 

Harry Coumnas wants to cover all the aspects, pros and cons and what kind of dedication and hard work it takes to explore and find extraterrestrial life by the scientists of today. He has been in the news and many interviews for his jaw-dropping researches. Now, he wants to try his hand in making a short film depicting all the truths of our universe and alien life.
